Shisha aims to develop shared meanings across

generations and locations, to influence our perceptions

about how our lives become interconnected when

we gaze at a piece of artwork in a gallery, walk through

a field of verb green grasses, or meditate in the sacred

temple of thought

As a unique organisation with unique objectives Shisha

brings the artists and makers of South Asia to the

notice of artists and makers in Britain through

programmes of collaboration between educators,

policy makers, curators - and myself as I experience

the joy of being transported into the mirrored world

of the gifted practitioners of art-making.
